About Him
Ziyang Wang obtained his Ph.D. in the field of EEIS from the University of Tokyo. When he is not immersed in research, he enjoys body training, practicing front somersault, and honing his skills in Jeet Kune Do.
Research Interests
His primary research interests include:
- Day-ahead electricity price forecasting
- Low-energy small-scale wearable air-conditioner development
- Other prediction models including intraday market electricity price forecasting, small-hydro power generation forecasting, and real-time/long-term vehicular CO₂ emission estimation
- Carbon nanotubes (CNTs)-assisted high thermal conductive heat sink development
- Physiological indices-based thermal comfort modeling using machine learning
